Despite entering their maiden European campaign, Crystal Palace are adapting at a rapid pace. Without star players like striker Jean-Philippe Mateta and wing-back Daniel Muñoz, the Eagles left Dublin with a commanding result that all but secures them a spot in the Conference League qualifying rounds.
A further victory in their next fixture against Finland's KuPS should be sufficient to secure direct passage to the knockout stages, particularly after a previous stumble against Strasbourg.

Esse was desperately unlucky later on, seeing one attempt crash off both posts before being gathered on the line. Uche also missed a glaring chance, showing there is still room for development in his game.
A solitary worry for Palace was a late knock to Justin Devenny, who limped off. This paved the way for 17-year-old forward Benji Casey to earn his senior debut, rounding off an otherwise perfect evening for the visiting side.
